August 2, 2006 This little mouse on a string was a toy we originally bought for the cats... They didn't really have much to do with it though.. They at least pretended to be interested in it when we tied their favorite toy, rings from a milk carton to the string, but still, they never really paid much attention to it. :) However, it is an absolute LIFE SAVER with Miley!!! :) Just tie an old wash rag to the ring and she'll spend a good 30 minutes trying to untie it.. Ahhh, peace and quiet. :) She's getting faster though... I'm going to have to start tying that knot tighter! :)

New bed, new collar, new tag, new harness... Nope. Miley's not spoiled... Not at all... Miley will quickly outgrow her new bed, but we just had to get it for her. First, the colors are just too cute for words, and suit her perfectly. :) Second, the first time she saw this bed it was laying in the middle of the aisle at the pet store... She went straight up to it, curled up in it, and went to sleep. :) We just couldn't say no. :)
14 weeks old Meet Kacey!! :) Kacey is Miley's new puppy pal. :) Kacey's mommy and daddy (Melissa and Ryan) met Kevin and me at the Green Mountain Nature Trail on Sunday so we could introduce our puppies to each other. :)
 Okay, this has got to be one of the cutest pictures of Miley ever taken!!! Kacey's daddy is an extremely talented photographer.. He took most of the pictures from our little walk (all of the good ones, anyway :D)!!  "Umm... Mom... what do you mean, BATH??!"
Miley sure slept good the rest of the night. I guess when you're that tired, you can konk out in any position!! New Tricks!!! Miley adds two new tricks to her repertoire!! For Kevin's 28th birthday, we all took a road trip down to Florida to celebrate with his family. Miley did extremely well traveling in the car, however when we were stuck in a one-hour traffic jam in Birmingham, she wanted to get out of her crate and help navigate. ;)

I give up. I'm just gonna go to sleep until we get there.

Tonight Miley's friend Kacey and her parents came over to our house to play and have dinner. Miley and Kacey sure did love to FIGHT!! :)
 Kacey: "Listen very carefully, and I will tell you the secret to Boston Terrier World Domination..."
