Please click (or put your mouse over) the images to view larger versions! :)     This Sunday, for Father's Day, we spent the afternoon with Miley and Howie at Little River Canyon. Due to the severe drout in North Alabama, the falls were as low as we'd ever seen them. (Compare to years past: 2006. 2004.) But Miley and Howie didn't care. That just meant there were more rocks to climb on, and more shallow water to walk in. :) The trail down to the bottom of the canyon made for some beautiful pictures of Miley and Howie. :) Puppy Reflections :) Miley had a great time chasing her ball on top of the falls, in all the pools that had formed on the rocks where the Little River used to be! ;) Howie assisted when needed. :) Check out Miley's intense focus on her ball in the third pic... :) Howie dives for the ball while Miley is caught mid-shake. :) Miley says, "Brr, this water is cold! Let me outta here!" :) There were a couple of times when Miley and Howie got to the ball at the same time... Which of course led to a few rounds of bitey-face.. :) Miley always wins though, so Howie decided to get back at her... By pushing her in the deep water!!! Swim, Miley! :) Of course Daddy was there to comfort her. :) (Mommy just took pics. :D) By the time we hiked down to the bottom of the canyon, Miley and Howie were POOPED! :) June 23, 2007 This was Miley and Howie's first trip to the Big Pool in Pensacola together... :) June 23, 2007 Howie was braver than Miley was at her first trip to the pool, but Miley was much more confident for her second trip! :) June 23, 2007 There were fun new toys in Pensacola...
